Recognizing the demand for an educated workforce, the Indiana Chamber supports a number of policies and initiatives to improve education at all levels: K-12, higher education and adult education. In higher education, the Indiana Chamber is leading a 4-year, Lumina-funded initiative to increase the percentage of Hoosier college graduates by 50 percent over the next 15 years. That goal, while certainly aggressive, is consistent with gains that have already occurred in countries around the world and would help assure that Indiana remains competitive in our increasingly global economy.
